Role and responsibility
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Showplace for a Trailer Operative. Ideally, you will be interested in the exhibition industry and be physically fit. This is a hands-on practical role that will suit an individual who wants to work with their hands. The role does involve occasional weekend working and stays away. Although the majority of events are in the UK, we do occasionally operate in Europe and this will involve driving abroad.

Drive and set up exhibition trailers as directedLiaise with clients on-site as requiredMake project managers/operations manager aware of any issues that arise on-siteComplete daily vehicle inspections and fill out daily mileage sheetAdhere to tacho rulesResponsibility for the pre-deliver preparation of the trailer before departing for the eventRe-stock consumables in the trailerResponsibility to check the trailer on collection and note any damage to the unitAssist with the maintenance of trailers in the yardUse T sheets to log working hours (on-line time sheet)Use Quip to upload photographs of the trailer on-siteReport any faults or issues with the trailer to the transport managerWork with, and in, other departments of the business as required
