JOB DETAILS - INTERNAL SALES EXECUTIVE

Showplace is looking to recruit a internal sales executive as the business continues to grow.
 
The role
Showplace is looking for an energetic, customer focused individual to join our sales team. We are a small but effective team who are supportive and work together to produce results. Our team comprises a sales manager, to whom you will report, a business development manager and an accounts manager. We are looking to recruit an internal sales executive whose skills will complement those of our sales team.

Skills and Experience
We are looking to appoint someone with prior sales experience in a similar internal sales role. Some of our sales are transactional but others are more consultative. The successful candidate will enjoy talking on the phone and have the confidence to speak to both potential and existing clients. They will have also had experience of using and managing a CRM database to track output and results. The candidate will be keen to develop skills and knowledge and have excellent communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Responding to inbound calls and emails
• Database management and ownership – currently ACT but we are looking at other systems to help Showplace progress
• Assisting the rest of the sales team with administrative tasks
• Researching opportunities in line with the company’s business strategy
• Proactive approach to generating leads
• Outbound calls to existing clients and to potential clients through show calling
• Generating quotes and processing orders
• Liaising with other departments such as marketing, project management team and the operations team
• Excellent customer service both externally and internally
• Collating and running reports for sales/management meetings
• Implementing processes and procedures in line with progression of the company
 
Other requirements
• Adhere to GDPR, PECR and data protection legislation
• Work in accordance with Showplace company guidelines and values at all times
• Other suitable company duties as required
• Full, clean driving licence

• The annual salary for the role is between £23-26k depending on experience
