Since reopening The Lime Tree Restaurant in July, Stratford Garden Centre has warmly welcomed its regular customers through the doors, as well as many new visitors.
The weather has been enviable in recent weeks with the warm, sunny climate encouraging many customers to sit outside and enjoy their refreshments. However, as autumn brings cooler temperatures, the team at family-run Stratford Garden Centre realised the need to increase their indoor dining space in order to welcome their usual number of customers through the winter months, particularly in the busy run up to Christmas.
Located in Clifford Chambers, on the outskirts of Stratford-upon-Avon, Stratford Garden Centre contacted Showplace to see if we could assist with their additional indoor space requirements.
Usually, we would be providing premium quality event buildings, stands and exhibition trailers to household brands at some of the most prestigious events across the UK and Europe. However, since the emergence of Covid-19, we have been really busy ensuring our MODA structures are being put to excellent use, providing quality temporary buildings for a range of sectors, including care homes, offices and schools, health services and garden centres.
In a matter of days, Showplace installed six of its temporary modular structures to provide the independently owned garden centre with an additional 216 sq m of indoor space, fitted with laminate flooring and lighting. Specialist ramps and an insulated archway were also implemented to ensure that customers could move from the original restaurant into the extended area without the need to venture outside. Stratford Garden Centre then added a range of their own dining furniture along with a vast array of attractive plants and greenery to provide a picturesque and tranquil environment in which people can safely socialise.
