The country show season has not yet come to an end, and the Showplace managed Mazda exhibition trailer is still making the rounds.  This Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th the trailer will be at the Essex Country Show.  What was once an Essex farming family’s informal gathering of half a dozen steam engines is now the largest events of its kind in the South East, with an average of 35,000 visitors for the last 6 years.  The show has an emphasis on agricultural history and rural crafts and features old steam engines, helicopter rides, a specialist food hall, lots of fun activities for the children and a huge variety of craft and trade stands.

On Sunday Showplace will have trailers out at two big sporting events.  The Wiggle Super Trailer will be at the HSBC Triathlon, Duathlon and Scootathlon at Dorney Lake in Berkshire.  The HSBC Traithlon offers something for everyone looking to get involved in the UK’s fastest growing sport.  With the three most popular tri distances on offer plus a Duathlon and a Scootathlon for the little ones.  It is truly a festival of multisport and perfect for the seasoned professional or complete novice.

The feedback and photos are in from this past weekend’s events for Showplace structures and trailers.  The Showplace team were here, there and everywhere as they covered sporting events and a county fair.  It started at the races with Goodwood Festival of Speed where Showplace supported several clients.  A massive structure was built for client A1 Events on behalf of Skoda, and trailers built up for Harmon Kardon and Park Displays.

The Mazda 7 meter trailer was representing at The Oxfordshire County & Thame Show.  This year the trailer glistened in the glorious sunshine instead of in the heavy rain fall that was experienced last year.

The weekend wrapped up with the Asics trailer at the Bupa Great Edinburgh Run where thousands of runners took to the streets to raise money for charity.  Andrew Lemoncello defied critics and produced another superb victory less than two days after being crowned 10,000m gold medallist at the British Championships in Birmingham.  Lemoncello completed the 10k road race over a very tough course in just 30 minutes and 18 seconds.

But wait there’s more!

This Sunday the 14th the Showplace managed Asics trailer hits the trail again up in Scotland for the Bupa Great Edinburgh Run where more than 6,000 runners will run the heart of historic Edinburgh on the UK’s most scenic urban course, raising millions of pounds for charity.
