Showplace was established

Showplace was established
Showplace started life provide providing hospitality trailers to the Motorsport Industry then expanded in hospitality facilities and catering. The company rapidly became established as the leading hospitality company in motorsport working at every round of the BTCC & F3/GT championships for Vauxhall and Porsche and many other manufacturers. Showplace became the sole supplier of Hospitality for the British World Rally Championships (WRC) for many years, helping establish its home in South Wales working closely with the Wales Assembly Government, title sponsor.

Mazda & Grove Cranes

Mazda & Grove Cranes
In 1994 Showplace started operating all the exhibition trailers nationally for Mazda along with entering into partnership with Grove Cranes at Bauma for the first year providing an exhibition stand and managing their international exhibition programme.

Rover 75 Launch & Goodwood Festival Of Speed

Rover 75 Launch & Goodwood Festival Of Speed
Worked with Rover on the launch of the Rover 75 in Paris and Porsche at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Showplace At SED
1998 saw Showplace start working at SED (Forerunner National Construction event to Plantworx) along with BTCC for Vauxhall, F3 & GT Championships, Mobil Oils Roadshow, WRC at Silverstoneand County Shows with Barclays Bank.

Showplace Provide Hospitality At Powertour Championship (F3 & GT)
2000 saw Showplace provide hospitality services at the Powertour Championship along with being a BTCC Hospitality Provider and becoming an official hospitality provider for the Motorsport Association (MSA) and subsequent title sponsors the Wales Assembly Government (WAG).

Brands Hatch

Brands Hatch
In 2001, Showplace provided a wide range of hospitality facilities for World Super Bikes (WSB), Ferrari and Maserati at Brands Hatch.
2002

Showplace Acquired by Quintus Events Ltd

Showplace was acquired by Quintus Events Ltd from its original owner Trevor Lewis. Quintus principal activity involved the management of sporting and corporate events, with Showplace gaining involvement of high-profile events and activities. Showplace started many years of work at Skandia Cowes Week as a hospitality provider and providing premium facilities to numerous sponsors including Timberland, Omega, Boss, Gallo Wines, Mount Gay, VW, Cockburn’s and Gill.

Game, Set & Match

Game, Set & Match
Showplace began contributing to many of the different events undertaken by Quintus Events which included TP Masters Tennis at the Albert Hall, London Bierfest, Hurlingham Masters Tennis, London Triathlon, and hospitality providers at the London to Brighton Vintage Rally.

Showplace On Ice
Showplace introduced Outdoor Ice Rinks to their product range, with its first partnership with Warwick Castle, providing Ice Rinks to the tourist attraction over the festive period along with providing structures and catering services for its first ever wedding event.

Millennium Stadium & Mobil Oils

Showplace sold hospitality packages in the Millennium Stadium for the WRGB Super Special Stage along with working with Mobil Oils managing their Annual Pre-Grand Prix Garden Parties.

Conferencing At An Epic Scale
2006 saw Showplace provided a vast conference facility for the Post Office at an event at Warwick Castle along with producing exhibition stands for 8 clients at the SED Event.

Royal Highland Show with Albert Bartlett

Royal Highland Show with Albert Bartlett
In 2007 Showplace started working at the Royal Highland Show for the first time with Albert Bartlett along with providing a permanent permanent structure installation at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire.

Management Buyout

Rob Goodman, Martyn Jetzer and Will Stuart undertook a Management Buyout of Showplace Ltd.
2009

Milwaukee Tools Go On Tour

Milwaukee Tools Go On Tour
Showplace was contracted by Milwaukee Tools in 2009 to manage their roadshow requirements across UK and Europe. During this year Showplace also started working with Robert Wiseman Diaries who later became part Muller, managing their indoor and outdoor event stands along with working closely with Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, Fairford Air Tattoo, Stratford Food Festival & Juddmonte.

Mazda & Asics
2010 saw our automotive client base increase with a new partnership with Mazda where Showplace provided a stand for Mazda at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Showplace also started working with Asics and commissioned an exhibition trailer along with forming a strategic partnership with a Dutch event provider to expand our reach into the European market.

New Events & Icerinks

New Events & Icerinks
2011 saw a new stragtegic partnership with John Deere formed with exhibition stands being produced for Saltex, Cereals and Grasslands events. Showplace also provided a demonstration stage kitchen for several events at the Touchwood Shopping Centre Solihull and started working with Warwick Castle providing Ice Rinks over the festive period to this prestigious tourist attraction.
2012
July 12

Introduction of Moda Structures

Introduction of Moda Structures
2012 saw the introduction of Moda Structures – bespoke temporary structures exclusive to Showplace. This included 5m, 6m and 12m structure options for our clients and continue to be a popular choice for our clients. Showplace were also asked to commission an exhibition trailer for Speedo to promote the brand prior and during the Olympics of this year along with an exhibition trailer for the online retailer ‘Wiggle’ to take to cycle events.
2013

Showplace & Rail Live Event

Showplace was heavily involved with the first Rail Live Event assisting Network Rail in getting the event off the ground and continue to provided stands for exhibitors. During 2013, Showplace also provided experiential structures locations across London for the inaugural NFL matches in the UK along with providing facilities for 20 clients at the first ever Plantworx event and working closely with Skoda at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

2014 was a busy year for Showplace which saw new partnerships formed with Jaguar Land Rover, Barclays Bank PLC, Kubota and CAT along with the design and build of 10 exhibition stands at Hillhead.

Echo Exhibition Stands Launched

Due to increased client demand, Showplace invested in a bespoke Exhibition Stand System called ‘Echo Exhibition Stands’. This is a unique product to Showplace offering tension graphic stands, that are fully reusable and offer a cost-effective option.

Roadshow Contracted With The Beyonce Merchandise Trailer
Showplace provided the The Beyonce Merchandise Trailer for her ‘The Formation World Tour’ and was contracted throughout UK and Europe from June – August.

RS Components Managed Roadshow – Plantworx
Contracted RS Components for their roadshow requirements across the UK and Plantworx  becomes an increasingly busy event for Showplace – providing 13 structures 7 trailers 1 indoor stand build for our clients.
