Exhibition Trailers – The 101

Exhibition Trailers

Exhibiting at an Event? Make sure you give yourself the space to do business, provide your clients with hospitality and sharpen your brand image.

With such huge scope for design and branding, hiring an exhibition trailer can seem overwhelming when you have so much else to do.

Here are our top tips for getting the most from your trailer.

1. Size Matters – Double check the size of the exhibition area you will have at the event, this will help you decide on the size your trailer. REMEMBER that any fold out wings on your trailer will have to be within your designated space at the event.

2. Customers – How many are you expecting? Have you got room to sit down and discuss business? Can you offer them a cup of coffee, glass of champagne and somewhere comfortable to sit?

3. Show Off Your Best Bits – You are proud of your products, you know how good they are, make sure you have space to show them off! Milwaulkee use screens on the outside of their trailer to show product demos to the crowds outside as well those on the stand itself.

4. Branding – Colours and images need to be positioned so that your visitors can identify your stand easily – if you are designing the branding for the trailer yourself you will need to keep the layout and dimensions of the trailer in mind, you don’t want your logo divided in half when you open the trailer doors!

If this sounds like alot to consider, you’ll be pleased to know that there’s another option…

The easiest approach is to use a company that specialise in trailer design and arrange graphics on a regular basis. Showplace, based in Stratford Upon Avon pride themselves on offering a turn-key service. This allows their clients to simply turn up on the day of their event to a stand that is ready to go.
