The posters are up and the tickets are going fast. In just a little over two weeks the Stratford Food Festival will be taking place at the Stratford Racecourse and it is set to be the biggest and best yet. The Festival is organised by Showplace Events, a division of local events solutions company, Showplace that supply temporary outdoor structures, exhibition/event and road show trailers as well as indoor exhibition stands. Visitors attending the festival September 14 -15 will enjoy a festival atmosphere with food demos, live music and entertainment. This year for the first time there will also be the option to camp onsite on the racecourse grounds. Some highlights of the event are the Saturday headline act Sophie Michell, Michelin star chef and presenter for Channel 4’s popular food series “Cook Yourself Thin”. Sunday the headline act will be Paul Hollywood, celebrity baker and head baker at some of the most exclusive hotels in the country. Paul is also famous for his role as a judge on BBC 2’s BAFTA Award winning “The Great British Bake Off”. Other highlights will include the Great Tast
e Market, Children’s Activity Area & Rides, a Local Exhibitor Tent and Interactive Workshops with food industry professionals. Alongside all of this will be a vast array of good food and drink with live music performances throughout the day. All in all, it’s a weekend not to be missed.
