The Showplace managed Speedo exhibition trailer had a record breaking response this past Thursday and Friday when they parked up in the heart of London and one of the largest financial districts – Canary Wharf. The trailer was strategically placed in front of the UK’s second tallest building, One Canada Square, and succeeded in grabbing the attention of many of the 90,000 people that work in the area. The Speedo exhibition trailer has been on an 18-month road show all over the UK, including the far flung regions of Scotland and Wales. The trailer was professionally designed to present Speedo products and the brand to consumers in an innovative way. With the spirit of the Olympics in mind, the trailer was also used as an engaging platform to “Inspire People to Swim” by educating consumers about the benefits of swimming. Visitors were challenged to take on 8x Olympic gold medallist Michael Phelps in the virtual tour of “Push the Limit” Xbox Kinect game. There were also advisors on hand sharing expert knowledge and advising customers on the best Speedo products to suit their activities, shape, lifestyle and style preferences. It has been an amazing journey for both Speedo and Showplace, from city centres and fitness clubs to sporting events and even holiday parks. It goes to show that taking your brand on the road and out to the public really pays off.
